NEW rugby league teams with feline names seem to be the thing in Burnley and Pendle.
Following hot on the heels of the Pendle Lions come the Pendle Panthers, a junior team made up of players from the borough's high schools.
The Panthers play their first match in the North West Counties League U14s division on Sunday (October 19) against Tameside.
