TWO infants and their mother were treated in hospital after smoke from an arson attack on a neighbouring house filled their home.
Zarina Rehman, 23, cradled her tiny month-old son Anez, and two-year-old daughter Sana as they sheltered from the early morning cold in the family's car outside their home in Stafford Street, Burnley.
The fire had been started in the empty house next door and had gutted the kitchen and a downstairs room before breaking through the ceiling into the bedroom and bathroom.
The thick smoke spread to the Rehmans' home and they managed to get out before the fire brigade arrived.
Paramedics took them to hospital when Mrs Rehman and Sana complained of breathing difficulties. They were later discharged.
