A JOB club has cracked open the champagne after getting nearly 300 people to work after just two years of business - leading to a shortage of members.
Bosses at the YMCA job club in Preston are over-the-moon after hitting high targets they set themselves when the doors first opened in September 1995.
And what's more Manager Helen Nelson said those successful had got the employment they wanted instead of having to take any job.
Mrs Nelson said: "We're delighted with how successful we've been. People have been getting jobs within days ever since we started. We're running out of members.
"One man who had been unemployed for seven years got a job on my recommendation without even meeting the employer."
Anyone who wants more information or to join the club should call 01772 556076.
