BOOMING demand has led to about 25 new jobs at packaging firm RPC Containers of Guide, which is enjoying a bulging order book for its plastic containers.
The firm manufactures containers for products including paint and confectionery, with customers including Crown Paints and Nestle Rowntree.
New equipment is being installed at the factory and a recruitment drive for extra workers in its moulding and finishing departments is under way.
"Businesss is extremely healthy at the moment and this investment in additional equipment and staff underlines our confidence for the future and our commitment to the Blackburn area," said RPC Blackburn's general manager Reg Bamber.
