BEING a Burnley fan is so depressing at the moment.
The Bournemouth game was terrible. We didn't create anything like enough chances.
Chris Waddle says we play good football, but where is it?
The crux of the matter is that our players are devoid of ideas and David Eyres is the most clueless. Come on Gary Peters please take him away.

Winter's ruin
REFEREE Jeff Winter was pathetic in Saturday's Blackburn Rovers v Newcastle match.
I would like to know what the assessors are going back to the FA and saying about referees like Winter because in my view they are going to ruin the game.

Doubts over Akram
IN REPLY to Bramwell Speaks Out (LET, October 23) concerning the Lancashire Cricket Club captaincy, I must agree with the doubts over Wasim Akram as being the possible choice, as we know he missed most of last season due to injury.
It is a pity that Jason Gallian, through his internal troubles with the club and resulting loss of form, seems to be ruled out. Warren Hegg would not be a bad choice.
He has been around long enough now on the county circuit to know what it is all about.
I would not shoulder Graham Lloyd with the job as it might damage him in the same way it did Neil Fairbrother.
JOHN HAWKINS-SHELFORD, Waters Edge, Blackburn.
