LOOKERS Vauxhall St Helens would like to extend an invitation to members of the public to visit their Knowsley Road showroom to view two superb rally cars, which will be on display between Wednesday, October 29, and Tuesday, November 4.
One of the cars is the British Touring Car Championship Vectra, sponsored by Masterfit, which is the car driven by John McCelland and Derek Warwick (ex Formula 1 driver).
The second car is the Astra Gte which belongs to Widnes based Pete Littler, who will be competing in next month's Network Q Rally round Britain.
Service Manager, Alan Smith, said: "Both vehicles are magnificent examples of two different types of rally car and as such, people should take the opportunity to come down and see them.
"Having been in Pete's Astra on one of his test runs, I can vouch for the car's brilliant handling and Pete's excellent driving skills. However, whilst the car seems similar from the outside, inside is a very different matter."
The showroom will also be holding a "Guess how many balloons in a car' competition whilst the cars are on display and prizes will include a superb Network Q winter fleece and other goodies. All proceeds will go to the St Helens and Knowsley Hospice Appeal.
