DEMAND for help from a business information service is booming.
The council-run International Business Centre, in Blackburn, provides detailed information on overseas markets aimed at firms interested in exporting.
A report to councillors next week highlights demand for the centre's services from companies right across East Lancashire. Recent examples of firms' successes have included helping a wallpaper manufacturer wanting detailed market research information.
This has has now helped it expand its business into Europe.
A plastics firm has also been helped to get in the running for public services contracts in France and Germany.
