BURNLEY'S RCD Motorsport have been voted the best bike team racing in Britain at the sport's annual awards ceremony.
Bike industry voters put the squad in pole position - ahead of the high profile £1million Superbike outfit and top 600cc and 250cc teams.
It was an amazing end to RCD's first year of competition in which number one rider Darren Barton took his second British title, and team mate Les Wood clinched the runners-up spot in the National 125cc Championship.
The team only came together a few weeks before the start of the season, but was winning races by its second meeting of the year and scored points in the British Grand Prix in August.
