I WOULD like to take this opportunity to remind the speeding, callous driver of a blue van who, on the evening of Tuesday, October 28, mowed down my much loved family pet dog and couldn't be bothered to stop, that we had our family pet for many years.
I hope your conscience, if you have one, plagues you. To have him snatched from us by your selfishness is heartbreaking. If you had killed your speed my dog would still be with us today.
Drivers like you deserve nothing but contempt.
L JACKSON, Abraham Street, Blackburn.
