THE Judge in the Louise Woodward trial caused a few eyebrows to be raised when he announced that his decision on the emergency motions put to him yesterday would go out on the Internet in advance of an announcement in his Boston court.
Although many in legal circles have pronounced it a "bizarre" move, it shows how big the Internet has become.
Those interested enough will be able to read his entire judgement, which is likely to be lengthy and liberally sprinkled with American legal jargon.
But the vast majority of people in countries across the world will still prefer to rely on journalists on newspapers, television and radio distilling the statement into understandable chunks.
