AIN'T no mountain high enough for Graham Neild when it comes to raising cash for charity. The Blackburn Council worker is going to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest to raise money for Children In Need. Graham, 41, (left) of Livesey Branch Road, Blackburn, is in training to reach the pinnacle of the world's highest mountain - but rather than travelling to the Himalayas for his daunting task he will be climbing the 29,028 ft from the 'comfort' of a gymnasium.

He will step into action on November 14 at the Regency Fitness Suite at King George's Hall, using the gym's stepper machine for the gruelling test he aims to complete within five hours.

Graham is no stranger to taking on tall orders and has already 'scaled' Everest. At a Blackburn Lions Gala event a few years ago he joined fellow fund raisers in a two-day ladder climb to reach his target.

Anyone who would like to sponsor Graham should phone the Regency Fitness Suite on 264355.
