AS "name and address supplied" said in the Citizen, October 24, test masts have been in place for two years, but they were a mere pimple to the size of the masts proposed. They were so insignificant that you did not notice them unless you looked carefully.
Of course they should not have been approved either but a lot of Darwen councillors keep their cards close to their chests and it is usually by chance that Darwen people find out what is going on (remember the technical college?). Everybody has the right to their own opinion, but the anonymous person who says he or she was not opposed to the wind farm should stand up and be counted and they will realise what a minority they are in.
I personally admire the Fosters for making Darweners aware NOW before anything is approved.
Mrs J Madden,
Sudell Road,
Darwen.
