FORGET pills and potions - local doctors say a healthier lifestyle is the way to recovery.
Exercise on prescription is catching on in a big way with practice nurses Janet Sarsfield and Jacqui Halstead who work at the surgery of Drs Singh, Jenkins and Berry in Colne Road, Burnley.
Patients throughout the area are now being given ten week sessions of two hours of gentle exercise at the Thompson Centre and guidance about adopting healthy eating, relaxation and coping with stress.
