A GARAGE in Burnley is at the forefront of the internet revolution.

Kitchens, in Trafalgar Street, have become the first dealers in town to link up to a motors database reaching everyone on the 'web' in Lancashire.

The Renault dealers believe they will reach countless new customers with the internet pages they've bought through Newsquest, owners of the Burnley and Pendle Citizen.

Kitchens' general manager Ian Haken explained his decision: "If someone is looking for a Renault car, they can use the internet to access the database, which has a link to our pages.

"They can then e-mail us for brochures, prices and so on.

"More and more people are using the internet for information. The more people we reach, the more will be aware of our services."
