ACES were high at the Triad Gala. Three youngsters with Howe Bridges Aces represented Central Lancashire in the event.
Michaela Carmen won the 100 breaststroke, Ben Hancock won the 100 breaststroke and was fourth in the 100 butterfly, Chris Atherton was second in both the 100 breaststroke and 100 butterfly.
In an end-of-season flourish Aces won a place in the A Final of the Junior Jubilee Competition.
They beat Chadderton, Hyde Seal and Oldham in a thrilling match.
In their final home fixtures of the season Aces beat Bury & Elton 66-41 in the Junior Swim League and were worthy 198-115 winners against Ramsbottom in the Intermediate League.
