WELL done Blackburn with Darwen Council.
It is giving full backing to proposals which would present it with tough new powers to deal with trouble makers and "neighbours from hell."
The council has been at the forefront of the fight against anti-social and criminal behaviour on council estates.
And once again it has proved that, as regards this issue, it is not afraid to grasp a particularly nasty nettle.
It is good to see that the council is willing to have a go at the anti-social minority who cause such distress and misery and to represent the long-suffering, and mainly silent, majority.
It is much appreciated and should be noted by other councils.
