LANCASHIRE have nicked blockbusting bobby Sean Mullaney from the British Police RL team.
Leigh PC Sean, 29, toured Australia last year with Great Britain's RL boys in blue.
And on Tuesday at Leigh Miners' Twist Lane ground he was on the pitch again with his tour mates - this time facing them in the BARLA Lancashire squad.
Big Sean has transferred to Leigh sub-division from Moss Side.
And the Wigan St Pat's packman - 10 years a policeman - has switched playing colours in the hope of further honours with BARLA.
Eyeing the chance of county and Great Britain honours Sean said: "They accept my reasons for not playing for the Police side."
Local interest was intensified with Leigh goalkicking threequarter and Bolton Police probationer Dean Purtill in the Police team.
