THE fight for Wesley Guild's village green status continues.

Pennington people are determined to show that they have all the evidence to prove Wesley Guild was, and can be again, a village green.

The preservation group is staging a public meeting in Leigh Cricket Club on November 12 at 7.30pm.

The hearing to decide the issue starts at 10am on November 17 in Leigh Town Hall.

New evidence has convinced the preservation group's lawyers that the Wesley Guild's case for village green status can be achieved.
