SIX long-serving officers from St Helens and Knowsley branches of Merseyside Police Force were among those awarded special medals during an official ceremony at Knowsley Hall in Prescot.
The Long Service and Good Conduct Medals, which commend 22 years of service, were presented by Brian Thaxter, High Sheriff of Merseyside, to Sgt David Money, PC Graham Burrows and PC Douglas Griffiths from the St Helens Communications Centre; Sgt Alan Murray and DC Malcolm Calder from Knowsley South; and PC Colin Rouse also based at St Helens.
