A PRESTWICH clothes shop was targeted by raiders twice in 48 hours.
According to police £9,000 worth of jackets and clothing were stolen during the two evening raids at Image in Bury Old Road, on Monday (Oct 27) and two days later on the Wednesday.
In the first raid, thieves forced open a section of the steel roller shutters, smashed the display window and entered the shop. Women's jackets and dresses were stolen.
Two nights later, they used a car as a battering ram to smash their way into the shop before stealing clothing to the value of £2,000.
Police are appealing for witnesses of either robbery to contact them on 0800 555 111 or 856 8149.
