ST HELENS snooker sensation Wayne Brown lined up one of the biggest matches of his career yesterday (Wednesday).
The Sutton Manor-based star was due to meet the legendary Jimmy White in his third game of the £33,000 Benson and Hedges Championship at Malvern, Worcestershire.
He won his first match 5-4 against Pakistan's number one Shokat Ali, coming back from 4-3 down.
Then, playing Nic Barrow from Oxford, he raced into a 2-0 lead without Barrow potting a ball.
But Barrow hit back to take a 4-2 lead, before Wayne secured his showdown with the Whirlwind.
