A FAMILY of six had to be re-housed this week following a fire at their home which police suspect was the work of arsonists.
The fire was reported at 3am on Wednesday, November 5, at a house in Autumn Way, Clock Face, and the occupiers - two adults and four children aged between six and 15 years - were temporarily housed at the Stakis Hotel before the council could re-house them.
The groundfloor of the house, where the fire started, was severely damaged and the rest of the house was damaged by smoke.
ANYONE who saw anything suspicious or has any information about the fire, can contact DS Steve Young at St Helens CID on 0151 777 6064 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
