YOUNG Pennington solicitor Andrew Leakey has recently been appointed to the civil litigation department at Stephensons in Leigh.
Andrew, 25, is the son of Rev. Peter Leakey, of Christ Church, Pennington.
Educated at Liverpool University and Chester College of Law, he completed his training contract at Stephensons before his appointment upon qualification.
Andrew specialises in disputes between members of the public, contracts, and consumer law.
He also has a particular interest in environmental law and is a regular contributor at Wigan Green Business Club.
Also new to the civil litigation team is Sean Reynolds, who joined from a firm in Sussex.
Sean brings with him expertise in education, employment and health law.
One of his particular interests is the rights of people with mental health problems.
He has brought four separate ground breaking cases before the European Commission on Human Rights within the last 12 months.
