BUDDING young ice-dancers need to get their skates on if they want a chance to perform alongside world-class stars in a sparkling new pantomime on ice.
The creators of Blackpool's renowned Hot Ice Show are bringing together a host of international skaters for a production of A Christmas Fantasy, to be staged in Blackburn.
More than 2,000 square feet of shimmering ice will transform Blackburn's King George's Hall into a winter wonderland for the tale of an enchanted journey in search of Santa Claus ending at the palace of the Snow Queen.
Big names such as six times British figure skating champion Joanne Conway and five times Finnish champion Oula Jaaskelainen, are involved in the star-studded production.
Now the producers at Stageworks Worldwide Productions are searching for a few proficient skaters aged between nine and 13 who are able to act and who would be available for rehearsals and performances from December 15 to January 11.
Auditions are being held at 4.45pm on November 17 at Blackburn ice rink.
Young skaters must bring their skates with them, be accompanied by a parent or guardian and need to be ready to show what they can do!
