Clarets boss Chris Waddle says his plans are finally coming together - just in time for the big game at Blackpool on Saturday.

"Sides who have to play us now will not be looking forward to it, because we're one of the form teams," said the player-manager.

Waddle, delighted with his side's first away win at Luton, is confident that Burnley can start climbing the table after jumping out of the relegation zone.

Hopes are high that the Clarets can repeat last season's 3-1 victory at Bloomfield Road.

"It's a big game on Saturday," said Waddle after Tuesday's win.

"We're starting to find our form. It's coming together. We've still got a long way to go but we're getting there."

It's September since Burnley lost, and their unbeaten run has now lasted seven games.

"I've had a settled side for four or five weeks now," added Waddle. "They're good lads with the right spirit and right attitude and now we are on a bit of a roll. We're gradually going up the league."
