MAIL deliveries in Blackburn were brought to a standstill when more than 100 postal workers walked out on strike.
The lightning action followed a swoop by the Post Office's internal investigation branch and the suspension of a postman/driver on the night shift.
But staff returned to work before lunchtime after the man was reinstated.
