SMALL firms have switched to the power of new technology after taking part in courses.
The Blackburn companies have introduced computers for the first time after attending a bilingual Computing for Small Businesses course.
Sessions were organised by Blackburn with Darwen Council, Blackburn City Challenge and Enterprise plc and 55 companies have taken part.
"We are planning a more advanced course for those companies which have introduced computers into their businesses and examining the possibility of offering the courses outside the City Challenge area," said Ishwer Tailor, project co-ordinator for Enterprise plc.
