A PRIEST was among eight people arrested at an aerospace factory in Lancashire in the early hours of today.
The arrests at British Aerospace's Warton site followed a service held by peace protesters outside the gates of the factory.
The service was held to mark the sixth anniversary of a massacre in East Timor in which 273 people were killed.
The protesters, which included the priest from London and six people from East Timor, claim that Hawk jets built at the Warton site are used by the Indonesian Air Force against civilians in East Timor. Police confirmed that eight people had been arrested for failing to give their details. They were expected to be released later today.
