A MAN died after plunging from the top of Blackburn Shopping Centre early today.
Police and paramedics were called to the pedestrianised area near to the clock tower in King William Street, Blackburn, at around 7.30am.
Blackburn police Inspector Mike Simmons said it was too early to say exactly what had happened.
He added: "There has been a death but the identitity of the man is not yet known. We are still investigating the full circumstances of this incident."
The area was cleared before shops opened at 9am.
