UNEMPLOYED footballer Paul Lynch has found his career goal.
Paul was out of work for four months after leaving his job as a semi-professional player with Rochdale FC.
But now, through ELTEC's Target Training programme, he has moved up a few divisions and is employed as a coach at Blackburn Rovers.
The scheme gives unemployed people new skills to fill gaps in the local labour markets and gives employers financial incentives.
Paul, 20 was one of four on the scheme who joined Blackburn Rovers after gaining their NVQ level 2 in sport and recreation.
"Attracting the crowds is not a problem for Blackburn Rovers but attracting skilled coaches, shop and office staff has proved more difficult," said Tom Finn, club secretary at the club.
