I WAS bemused by Mrs A M Poynton's remarks (Letters, November 7) on the Teletubby saga at Mothercare. I was one of those people walking up in the last half hour joining friends at the front of the queue, as she puts it.
But rather than actually claiming a ticket, I bought coffee and breakfast for my husband and a friend, who had been queuing since 6am.
When the tickets were allocated I stood well away from the queue and only rejoined my husband after he had been handed a ticket.
I am sympathetic towards Mr Poynton and others who queued up, but I do feel the situation is getting out of hand when people are accusing others of things they have not done simply so that they can claim their tickets.
