A WHOLE new ball game was facing girls at a Darwen Moorland School, which joined forces with Blackburn Council to begin a soccer coaching course.
Sports development officers from Blackburn Community Leisure were to spend six weeks teaching a pilot class basic soccer skills.
And year 11 girls were to be given information on local clubs which ran female soccer teams.
