A DRIVER was knocked unconscious in a road rage attack in Morecambe on Sunday night.
A 33-year-old Lancaster man suffered head and facial injuries after being tailed by two two thugs in a Ford Mondeo, flashing their headlights and attempting to over take him.
He pulled over on North Street and while he was giving them directions to the harbour, he was set upon.
The victim recovered from the attack, drove home and was later taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for medical checks.
Police are treating the attack, which happened at about 9pm, very seriously and have issued a description of one of the offenders. He was very stocky, 6ft tall, in his late 30s with short, dark hair and a rough complexion. He spoke with a local accent and wore a two-tone blue Regatta style jacket.
Ring the police on 63333 if you can help with inquiries.
