DO any of your readers know the whereabouts of Harry and Edna Mary Eames, who moved from Lancashire to Suffolk in the 1950s and bought a thatched house from the Paine family called Hills Cottage in Bury Road, Lawshall, near Bury St Edmunds.
He was an electrician and she a teacher, possibly headteacher, at Lawshall Primary School.
I believe they moved back to Lancashire eventually.
I would like to hear from them, or any relatives, as I am researching the history of the cottage they once owned.
I can be contacted on 01284 830492 (telephone), 01284 830495 (fax), or at the address below.
