POLICE have seized stolen booze and property worth £95,000 in a raid at a warehouse.
About 8,400 bottles of whisky, vodka and other spirits worth £55,000 were recovered during a search of the building on Moorfield Industrial Estate, Altham.
Officers from Accrington searched yesterday afternoon after receiving a tip-off about the stolen property.
Police confirmed it had been stolen from a haulage depot in Mold, North Wales.
Trailer units and a horse box, also stolen from North Wales, were found in the warehouse.
A 48-year-old man and his 27-year-old son, both from Blackburn, were arrested in connection with handling stolen goods.
