A SENSATIONAL fortnight of music and dance at Blackpool's Grand Theatre starts with two nights of fiery flamenco fever.

Paco Pena's internationally acclaimed production Arte y Pasion hits town on November 16 and 17.

Spain's hottest singers, dancers and guitarists will bring the intoxicating rhythms, colours and sounds of Andalusia to the Lancashire stage.

A week later on November 21, toes will be tapping to the sounds of the 50s and 60s in The Wonderful Rock And Roll West End.

A five-piece band, four singers and dancers and a zany narrator will rock and roll the show through a montage of hits from the likes of Buddy, Grease, The Rocky Horror Show and The Tribute To The Blues Brothers.

The beat changes completely the following day when former stars of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company present A Feast Of Gilbert And Sullivan, an evening of operettas including Iolanthe, HMS Pinafore, The Mikado and the Pirates of Penzance.

Pauline Birchall, Barry Clark, Sandra Dugdale, Jeremy Peaker and Michael Rayner head a cast who were all principal artists at the D'Oyly Carte.

Finally, the Grand comes right back up to date with Simply The Best, Suzette Dorsey's tribute to Tina Turner.

The action-packed concert runs through the superstar's greatest songs from early classics such as Nutbush City Limits to recent recordings like Private Dancer and What's Love Got To Do With It?

The woman billed as having 'Tina's looks, voice and those fabulous legs too', sold out every venue on her last tour, so book early for the one-night special on November 30.
