THERE was quite a furore over an inverted Union Flag being unfurled over the Ministry of Defence on Remembrance Day.
Yet, is it not a fact that the Union Flag, flown upside down, is a recognised sign that help is needed and someone is in distress?
Is it not possible that this was a subtle move by a patriot who was warning the nation of the Chancellor's proposal to cut defence spending by 10 per cent - while the Prime Minister sabre-rattles and prepares for war?
