BURNLEY have already cashed in on the FA Cup, even though they have yet to get through their first-round tussle with Rotherham United.
With Sky TV deciding to screen Tuesday's replay against Rotherham 'live', it means that £37,500 will roll into the Turf Moor coffers.
That's the fee handed out to each club featuring in a first round replay which goes out 'live'. It would have been even better if Sky had decided to show the clash at Millmoor. For it was double that, £75,000, for the clubs involved in the first meetings which were broadcast.
SKY TV have already decided which second round matches will feature 'live' on the box.
Chester will entertain neighbours Wrexham at the Deva Stadium on Friday, December 5 (kick-off 7-45pm) and the Bournemouth v Bristol City game will go out on Sunday, December 7 (1pm).
IT'S all pay on the night for Burnley fans at Tuesday's FA Cup first round replay against Rotherham and, on this occasion, concessionary prices will be available at the Turf Moor turnstiles.
Normal League match prices apply and kick-off time is 7-45pm.
If Burnley win through to round two, ticket details for the home game against non-League Kings Lynn will be announced as soon as possible. The second round tie is scheduled for Saturday, December 6.
THE draw for the third round of the FA Cup, incidentally, will be televised by ITV on a spoecial programme from Lancaster Gate on Sunday, December 7, starting at 6-15pm.
It will also be broadcast by BBC Radio Five.
NEXT Wednesday's scheduled Pontin's League game against Rochdale has been postponed. It will now take place at Turf Moor on Wednesday, January 14 (kick-off 7-15pm).
