A CRACKDOWN on teenage drinking, blamed for increasing violence and disorder among the young, was demanded today.
The law on under-age drinking was "being widely flouted" said a major report to Home Secretary Douglas Hurd.
And he was urged to make the drinking of alcohol in public places by under-18s illegal and consider placing health warnings on bottles and cans of drink.
