HAVING watched Children in Need, I am thrilled so much money is raised for such needy causes which, without the promotion, would struggle very hard indeed.
So, well done, all the fund-raisers.
However, sadly, I must ask why just once a year do we have all these pop stars and TV personalities doing so much for disabled people when no representation of our most needy people is included in their videos, films, programmes, etc.
TV personalities should understand that disabled people are not for hire. They have needs - mental, physical, spiritual and social. They have feelings, skills and talent.
So don't just use them - include them.
