The body of a young woman was found slumped in Lancaster Cemetery on Friday. Karri Nicola Mason of Albert Road, Morecambe, was discovered in Lancaster Cemetery in Quernmore Road by a lorry driver who had parked in a lay-by. The driver spotted the body slumped against the wall from his cab and was treated at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for shock. The 29-year-old woman was last seen alive on Thursday and a postmortem examination has been held to discover the cause of death. Police say there are no suspicious circumstances and confirmed that a note was also discovered at the scene.
