THE artistic handywork of children at Stoneyholme primary school will help forge the future of their own neighbourhood.
Pupils at the school were asked to create an enormous model of Stoneyholme and Daneshouse to help town planners who are trying to improve the area.
The model will be the star of a series of open meetings in the new year where residents will be asked to say what improvements they would like to see.
Anyone with comments will be able to write their ideas on a card and place it on the model.
