Eastmoor Dragons 20 Blackbrook 28 BLACKBROOK collected their third away victory of the season in Yorkshire on Saturday.

They bounced back from a disappointing defeat at Barrow Island the previous week with five sparkling tries.

The game was won in the opening 50 minutes when Brook led 28-4. But victory had its price as they suffered inuires to four key players.

The 16-point cushion proved vaulable as the home side hit back with two converted tries.

Earlier the Dragons opened the scoring with a Paul Lister try and a Lee Southward penalty. But Brook responded with a great long-range try by wingman Mike Maloney, converted by Paul Toole.

Lee Southward edged the DRagons back in front with a a penalty goal. But the pendulum swunt back Brook's way when fine tries from Dave Ryan and Gareth Hill, converted by Paul Toole.

Brook extended their lead to 16 points early in the second period , courtesy of the Hill/Toole combination again before Drew Meadows reduced the deficit with a try converted by Southward.

But Brook brushed aside the Eastmoor challenge with a fine try by Darren Mitchell to put the game out of their reach, despite a last minmute converted try by Southward.
