RAIDERS brandishing metal bars stole cash, spirits and cigarettes totalling £260 in a robbery from the Spar store, Derby Street, Atherton, at 7.20pm on Monday.
They drove off in a stolen Rover car registration K464 RBV, which was later found abandoned at Laxey Crescent, Westleigh.
Police have issued descriptions of three men. One is blond, with a Manchester accent and wearing a grey balaclava. A second man, who wore a white jumper, is described as fairly tall. A third man is described as 5ft 4in tall and stocky.
