A SPECTACULAR inferno gutted a factory as hundreds watched from the streets.
Crowds gathered in the centre of Oswaldtwistle as flames tore through the former Shopfitters Mill and lit up the night sky in one of East Lancashire's largest blazes for years.
More than 120 firefighters spent the night tackling the blaze. An investigation was underway into the cause.
