PLEASE tell me, are John Blunt and Walt Meadows (Letters, November 27) one and the same person? For they both spout the same sort of drivel.
Mr Meadows tells us that Tony Blair's Labour party was elected with only a 40 per cent share of the vote. But that is 40 per cent more than the Queen has ever had.
Has it not dawned on Mr Meadows yet that this Prime Minister is far and away the most popular leader we have had for years.
And if he hadn't been at the royal wedding anniversary celebration, the crowds would have been, most certainly, thin on the ground.
Only his presence saved Her Majesty from the embarrassment of standing in an empty street waving to nonchalant passers-by.
