REGARDING your front-page story (LET, November 27) - history repeats itself.
There was no room at the inn when Jesus was born and so it is with lovely little Naomi Tyrie.
How can the powers that be refuse to let her attend school with other children because of her epilepsy?
Epilepsy is something that people are afraid of and shy away from. Yet, this child and her parents need all the help and understanding they can get.
I was once told by two sisters who taught at a local school that there are enough people here who can deal with this situation.
Now, with tablets and commonsense, one can lead a normal life. If only people would try and understand and not be afraid.
My heart goes out to Naomi and her parents. I hope she will be allowed to be herself and play and mix as a child should do.
