Shaw 54 Parr Hare & Hounds 8 HOUNDS' winning run came to an abrupt end at the hands of a strong Shaw outfit.
The visitors made the trek to Oldham with just a bare 13 due to injuries and work commitments and quickly fell 14 points adrift.
An 80-yard interception try by Hill and a touchdown by Cowans lifted Hounds briefly, but Shaw quickly regained control to run out comfortable winners.
Best for the losers was Proudlove while Weir, McMillan, Meadows, Corrigan, Hill and Marsh couldn't be faulted for effort.
