Crosfields 8 Clock Face Miners 8 STILL looking for their first away win of the season, Clock Face could only manage a draw against NWC division five opponents Crosfields.
Clock went behind to a penalty goal but then they got the try they deserved when Paul Cooney ran onto a nice inside pass to score under the posts. He also converted.
Clock were unable to add to their score this half, despite the efforts of Walsh, Hamilton and Rochester who all went close to scoring.
After the break Clock increased their lead with a Paul Cooney penalty, but Crosfields came back into the game with an unconverted try, then minutes later drew level with a penalty goal of their own.
Both teams had a chance to win the game in the final minute with a penalty goal each, but both attempts failed.
Best for Clock Face were Graham Leadbetter and Warrick Rochester.
