SATURDAY'S European championship defeat may be the last fight Ady in the flyweight category.

The 'Mighty Atom's' manager Jack Doughty believes that a move up to bantamweight could be a good move for him in the long run.

"It may well be that, ultimately, he will move back up to bantamweight whch is where he started," said Doughty.

"But as the holder of two titles at the moment we can't just blithely say that, we all have to sit down and discuss it and decide what we're going to do," he added.

Lewis' personal fitness coach and dietician Tony Ogden has had no difficulty in getting him to flyweight limit, according to his manager, and although the British and Commonwealth champion has since expressed reservations about his weight he assured his camp that he felt comfortable there.

"Personally, I have always felt that I preferred Ady at bantam because when he competed there earlier in his career he wasn't fighting for titles most of the time so instead of 8st 6lb he weighed in at about 8st 10lb," explained Doughty.

"At that point he was so strong he could knock any featherweight or even super-featherweight over.

"It does appear that moving down to flyweight has taken away some power, but we knew it probably would.

"We believed as he was fighting opponents who were also 8st he would be OK but when we've got to this level, with this particular opponent (Guerault) it may not have worked in our favour.

"It's all down to what Ady wants to do in the end and whether he wants to defend the titles or give them up and move up a division," he added.
